"Location. Hotel Tjumpahan Spa is on a terraced hillside on the bank of the Tjampuhan River in Ubud, Indonesia. The hotel is one kilometer from Ubud Centre, Ubud Market, and Museum Puri Lukisan. The Monkey Forest and its troops of gray monkeys are two kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. At the center of the hotel is the former home of Walter Spies, the founder of the Ubud artists' movement of the 1930s. A secluded outdoor pool lined with all manner of tropical greenery and sculpture is fed by a natural spring. A second pool on a lower level terrace includes a sundeck.
